As the Senior Director of Talent Management, I work directly with the leadership team and team members to ensure we consistently deliver highly personalized service and craft unforgettable experiences. Doing so has been the consistent signature trait of my extensive career in the luxury hospitality industry. HOW I DRIVE SERVICE EXCELLENCE Capturing and evaluating data, analyzing gaps, creating solutions, and empowering individuals with the skills and confidence to make a difference. Actively listening to people, at all levels of the organization, understanding their challenges, hearing their ideas, and getting their commitment to solutions.Defining goals and objectives, crafting detailed action plans, measuring and reviewing results, and tweaking processes when necessary. Not being afraid to disrupt the norm and never accepting “this is how we’ve always done it” or “this is good enough.”HOW I APPROACH EACH PROJECTI believe in continuous improvement and striving to offer the best – content, delivery, setup, and collateral.I am always prepared with a list, a plan, an agenda – and I create new or use existing tools and resources needed to accomplish goals. I leverage my prior training and experience in hotel operations, event planning, and quality management to flawlessly plan and execute each component of a training program – from concept through follow-up.I LOVE WHAT I DO I’ve always known I wanted to work in hospitality and have had the opportunity to do so in various roles and different environments.I made my way into my current training role by learning all I could about the industry and networking to meet the right people. At the end of the day, nothing is more rewarding than knowing we have given our guests an exceptional and memorable experience, from beginning to end.
