About Kathryn Clyne
I’ve always been a strong-minded individual. From a young age, people often said I would follow in my father’s footsteps and become a lawyer, and for a long time, that was my dream. My first professional experience came at my father’s firm, where I spent a summer working in the filing room. While it wasn’t a glamorous role, it was an important step in my development and a shift from my previous summer jobs as a camp counselor.As I progressed through high school, I discovered a deep interest in the business world. “You are a natural-born CEO,” a former VP at Goldman Sachs and my high school mentor, once told me. His words shifted my focus toward finance, a field that would allow me to apply the leadership and strategic thinking skills others believed would make me a great lawyer, but in a new direction.Now, as a sophomore at Fairfield University, I am fully immersed in the world of finance, building on my leadership abilities and academic foundation.
