In this role, I am leading a number of high-profile initiatives that form part of the province\'s Digital First for Health Strategy. These include-Managing the Secretariat for an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Advisory Working Group tasked with providing advice to the Ontario Health Data Council to support the Council in its role as the Minister\'s EHR advisory committee under s. 55.11 of the Personal Health Information Protection Act. The Working Group is composed of 16 senior health-sector leaders, and its mandate is focused on providing advice on matters relating to the administration of provincially-held EHR assets, particularly matters related to privacy and access to information-Overseeing the establishment and implementation of the province\'s Centralized Waitlist Management Program. The CWM program was established in 2020-21 as part of provincial efforts to alleviate the surgical backlog arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, and has an annual budget of over $20M-Overseeing investments in the Ontario eServices Program, which is focused on rolling out digital tools to support clinical workflows across organizations to enable smoother transitions in care, replace fax- and paper-based processes, and improve the frontline provider experience. The eServices program has an annual budget of over $20M-Serving as a subject-matter expert on the ministry team tasked with advancing the Ontario government\'s strategic efforts to phase out the use of fax in the province\'s health sector.

I am a lawyer and public policy professional who has built my career at the intersection of my passions: law, policy, health, and technology. I hold a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Laws in Privacy and Cybersecurity Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. I have also attained the Certified Information Privacy Professional (Canada) designation. In my current role with the Digital Health Program Branch at the Ontario Ministry of Health, I am leading a number of frontline-provider-oriented initiatives that form part of the province\'s Digital First for Health strategy.Over the course of my time with the Branch, I have led a number of key files in the area of digital health strategy, policy, procurement, and implementation. I have also become a trusted source of advice to senior ministry leadership on sensitive, complex policy and program management issues.I am a holistic thinker who is passionate about the importance of dialogue between stakeholders with differing expertise and perspectives in order to support the delivery of complex, cross-sector initiatives.
