As Graphic Coordinator for the High Point Campus Activities Team, I work as a member of the marketing team to plan and execute creative content that promotes campus-wide events and student engagement. I create digital and print materials including social media graphics, posters, banners, flyers, and on-site event visuals as well as collaborating with my team to brainstorm content ideas and improve marketing efforts. One of my key achievements so far has been designing t-shirts and marketing materials for one of HPU’s largest Welcome Week events, a project that taught me how to work within large-scale brand guidelines, navigate multiple rounds of approvals, and communicate with leadership throughout the design process. This role has also allowed me to contribute to growing the team’s social media following and engagement, which has already exceeded expectations this year and earned recognition from both our supervisors and the student body. Through this position, I have strengthened my skills in graphic design, event planning, social media management, leadership, time management, and teamwork, while gaining valuable real world experience in creative collaboration and large-scale marketing operations. I am very excited and motivated to see what more myself and my team accomplishes this year.
