About Kathryn Wilmsen

Everyday I try my best to change the idea that HR is the \"bad place\" employees go when they\'re \"in trouble.\" Having believed that myself in the past, I know its easier said than done. Now more than ever its important to bring the human touch to the workplace and I challenge myself to bring it in every interaction. I\'m enthusiastic about continuing my learning and gaining new skills in my career. I\'m currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Human Resources Management at DePaul University. I\'ve worked hard in a virtual learning world to earn a 4.0 and am almost ready to apply that learning to the SHRM test in 2022- wish me luck! I\'d love to connect and hear what you\'re doing to develop in HR, what books you\'re reading or if you have any tips on living a greener life (my favorite topic of conversation!)
