About Kathryn Vaughn
I am a Management Analyst with CMS with experience driving strategic growth, planning and leading complex initiatives, and managing client relationships. I have experience developing a seamless customer experience for users, and leading effective change management that results in strong program adoption. Executing this work at a high level involves strong teamwork, leadership, quantitative and analytic abilities - I approach each effort as a creative problem solver with a proven track record of identifying efficiency gaps and operationalizing solutions to resolve them. I have a Master\'s in Public Policy focused in Health Care Policy, undergraduate degrees in Communications and English, and have served for several semesters as an Instructional Associate to the McCourt School of Public Policy in graduate-level economics. Prior to joining CMS, I spent three years in the technology sector and six years in secondary education in public, charter and private schools, where I sharpened my presentation, communication and project management skills, and deepened my desire to support underserved communities in my work. I am passionate about health and social care, and developing data-driven solutions that improve lives and advance health equity.
