About Kathryn Suraya Kalouf
Kathryn Kalouf is a senior at the University of Florida where she is majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Innovation. Not only did she want to study engineering, but her interest in business blossomed in high school when she participated in Future Business Leaders of America and placed in district, state and national competitions. She decided to take classes that exposed her to innovation and entrepreneurship while she attended university, and intern at companies like Exactech, a medical device company in Gainesville, and Texas Instruments, a well-known semiconductor company based in Dallas to gain experience in industry. Kathryn aspires to one day become a founder of a company or find herself in a management position at the company she decides to work for. When she is not busy, she finds herself crocheting or reading a good book.
