ABOUT KATHRYN ROSE Y.
Passionate Program Coordinator | Dedicated to Strengthening International Relations Based in Paris, France I\'m Kathryn Rose Yeazel, a driven professional with a strong background in international cooperation and diplomacy. I recently completed my Master\'s degree in International Economic Policy from the Paris School of International Affairs with concentrations in Diplomacy and Asian Studies. Professional Journey Currently, I\'m honored to serve as a Program Coordinator for the Non-Profit Organization, Kizuna Across Cultures, which specializes in fostering grassroots connections in US-Japan relations through high school language exchange. I thrive in challenging yet rewarding positions such as this one where I can work to bridge cultural gaps and promote meaningful connections. Educational Path My academic journey has equipped me with a robust skill set. My concentrations in Diplomacy and Asian studies, complement my strong foundation in economic policy and provide a throughline to my undergraduate studies in East Asian Studies and Global Security. My love for language learning, diplomacy, and gender equality continues to drive my career choices and professional passions. Past Experiences Before joining my current role, I embarked on a transformative journey in Japan. What was initially a single gap year after earning my undergraduate degree turned into four years of personal and professional growth. As part of the Chiba-Wisconsin Program, I honed my teaching, communication, and leadership skills, fostering meaningful connections with the local community. Cross-Cultural Communicator Living in Japan, I developed an aptitude for bridging linguistic and cultural divides, both in professional and social settings. My experiences have shaped me into a versatile, empathetic communicator, a skill I leverage in my current role. My Interests Beyond my work, I\'m a firm believer in work-life balance. In my free time, I love to unwind by playing board games with friends, baking up a storm in the kitchen, and staying active through swimming. Seeking New Opportunities As I look to the future, I\'m actively seeking new opportunities in international relations, be it as a program coordinator, research assistant, consultant, or any role that aligns with my expertise and passion. I am eager to make a lasting impact on the global stage.
