Kathryn Kravetz Carr, MSN, CNM, FACNM, is a certified nurse-midwife, clinical instructor, and PhD candidate at Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. Guided by a commitment to respectful perinatal health care, Kathryn’s research focuses on preventing maternal deaths, 80% of which are preventable.
