About Kathryn Ender
In 2026, I launched De Novo - a boutique law firm, specializing in civil appellate and trial services. De Novo was born from my passion for the law and years of experience as a Florida Bar Board Certified Appellate Attorney. As a seasoned appellate practitioner and an Am Law 200 alumna, I recognize my clients’ individualized needs and efficiently work toward their goals.My experience spans state and federal courts in Florida and beyond. I often collaborate with trial teams to develop a comprehensive litigation strategy, frame complex legal issues, prevent reversible error, and preserve unavoidable error. I have also handled over 400 appeals in the state and federal court systems, with every appeal receiving specialized care to ensure clear briefing and compelling argument. As part of my practice, I provide a unique perspective to litigation at the trial level by identifying and narrowing legal issues and offering strategic advice to ensure the record is well developed and preserved. This includes preparing and arguing dispositive motions, pre-trial motions in limine, jury instructions and post-trial motions.
