The Center for NEW DIRECTIONS in Politics and Public Policy provide undergraduate and graduate education in political science with an emphasis in politics and public policy. Our goal is to help our students and colleagues develop leadership capacities necessary to address changing public priorities for the 21st century in neighborhoods, communities, governmental jurisdictions, and nonprofit entities. Our Cathy Shipley Best and Brightest Internship program places graduate students in local governments in Colorado while they complete their Master\'s degree.
