Asset based mechanical engineer responsible for ensuring static equipment maintenance and project activities uphold engineering, design and regulatory standards. Derive and perform engineering calculations, prepare project specifications and develop longer term asset care strategies in addition to supporting delivery of projects and emergent works on-site. Engineering lead on priority projects to return mechanical integrity and usability of key plant safety equipment and infrastructure. Single point of engineering contact for these projects, liaising with contractors, suppliers and coordinating internal resources to ensure timely return of equipment to operation whilst ensuring quality and technical standards are upheld.
