Athlete: I retired from professional cycling in 2016, after five years with World Tour teams Cylance, Wiggle-Honda, BMW-HappyTooth, and Colavita, during which I won 6 national championships (SKN) and 3x Caribbean Champion. Before cycling, I was a professional triathlete and figure skater. Filmmaker: My feature documentary, HALF THE ROAD: The passion, pitfalls and power of women\'s professional cycling debuted in 2014 and garnered numerous Film Festival awards, theater screenings, and was signed to distribution by First Run Features. The film can now be viewed on iTunes and Vimeo, as well as DVD through Activist: In 2014, my social activism group, LE TOUR ENTIER, fought for-and achieved-creating a Tour de France for women. It was a monumental step forward for equality in professional cycling, and for the advancement of women in sport. I now focus my efforts on closing the gender pay gap for women. Author: Four nonfiction books published, All the Sundays Yet to Come (Little, Brown), As Good As Gold (ESPN Books), The Road Less Taken (Triumph Books), and STAND: A memoir on activism.
