Acrobat Global was founded by Kathryn Alevizos and Zanne Gaynor in 2019. The company promotes clear communication for all through skills training and the Is That Clear? series of books. Kathryn and Zanne\'s first book in the series is called Is That Clear? Effective communication in a multilingual world and raises awareness of how native speakers of English can adapt their language in multicultural situations. It\'s a practical guide full of tips on how to become a more effective international communicator and has been featured in the Financial Times and was a finalist at the Business Book Awards 2020. Kathryn and Zanne deliver workshops based on this book to universities, local authorities and private businesses. In the workshops, native English speakers learn and apply key strategies in order to communicate more effectively and inclusively with people for whom English is not a first language.Following the success of this first book and realising the benefits of better communication for a wider audience, Kathryn and her co-author, Zanne Gaynor, collaborated with Joe Butler, an autism consultant. Together they produced the second in the Is that clear? series. Called Is that clear? Effective communication in a neurodiverse world, the book is aimed at allistic (non-autistic) people with practical advice on how to improve their communication with autistic people. Each chapter has been reviewed by a panel of autistic people.
