ABOUT KATHLEEN OWENS

I have over 20 years of experience developing and delivering coaching, implementation support, customer support and professional development to a wide range of audiences including district officials, administrators, teachers. and colleagues. In working remotely with the Success for All Foundation, EL Education, Amplify Education, and Weld North Education, I managed multiple tasks, large district projects and individual schools with widely varying needs. I have a high-level of understanding of ELA and math Common Core standards and research-based instructional practices. I have worked in and with Title I schools my entire career and am committed to building equity in education. I have a work ethic centered around being dedicated, data driven, and loyal to the profession. Increasing student achievement with partners schools, districts and colleagues has been my life’s work. I have extensive experience managing a team of Customer Support Specialist, Coaches and Professional Development Specialist. These experiences included managing a team of client support specialist, scheduling training and support for school and districts, providing client support, scheduling larger-scale training events, training facilitation, delivering coaching sessions, evaluation of training effectiveness and analyzing program training data to locate areas of improvement. I have recruited, trained, and coached continuous improvement for a team of up to 25 members. In my role as manager, I have monitored key performance indications providing feedback and formal annual reviews for my team. The continuous improvement process I utilize has at its core, the support of personalized learning for team members and the organization as a whole. I am a Project Management Professional (PMP) and utilize PMP principals to effectively plan, manage and report on products and services.
