About Kathleen C.
My most rewarding clinical experience was working for Hope Hospice. I initially worked as an admissions nurse. I would admit patients from either their home, long term care or the hospital. I had one of the best visit to admission ratios due to my previous sales experience. I then worked as a staff RN at the bedside in a prn float basis in all 4 houses. This was a 12 hour shift job and i worked 3 to 4 shifts a week including weekends. I was then promoted after 2 years to Manager of inpatient care at Hope Hospice at HealthPark. This was a 17-bed unit for care of patients who had symptoms that could not be cared for at home. We were always at 100% capacity. I then got married and went part time back into Care Services doing admissions. I also spent 22 years at Abbott Labs in various sales positions, I also have previous clinical experience in Cardiovascular ICU, PACU, Cath Lab and Burn unit at The University of Michigan Medical Center, Charleston Area Medical Center and Park Plaza Hospital
