ABOUT KATHLEEN: Kathleen offers therapy, career and organizational consulting and workshop facilitation. She founded SEQUENCE in 2012, following 10 years as sole proprietor of Landers Counseling and Consulting. Her style is warm, kind and very direct, using a combination of cognitive and behavioral techniques based in current theories of attachment and neuroscience. As a therapist and coach she focuses on goals and objectives to position individuals and organizations for lasting success. Kathleen is a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience in direct services, program development and non-profit management in clinical and administrative positions. She has worked in supervisory and leadership roles including manager of a hospice setting, clinical director of a special education school, and chairperson of Montgomery County committee allocating direct service funds for high needs children. Degrees include a BA in psychology from Hiram College, a master’s in social work from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and post graduate clinical training through the Clinical Social Work Institute and certification in organizational consulting through the Baltimore-Washington School of Psychoanalysis.
