WORK HISTORY
Program Manager @Mozilla
Created and designed the Common CA Database (CCADB), which is now used by all of the major root store operators (Mozilla, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and Apple). Continue to lead all efforts relating to the CCADB, determining the roadmap based on input from root store operators and Certification Authorities (CAs). Design, test, and debug CCADB enhancements, including integration with tools that depend on the CCADB and tools that are used within the CCADB. Write and update CCADB and CA Program policies, practices, and instructions. As owner of Mozilla’s CA Certificates Module, evaluate requests from CAs for inclusion and removal of root certificates in Mozilla products. Liaise with CA representatives to guide them through a public process to determine which root certificates should be included in Network Security Services (NSS), an open-source collection of cryptographic libraries. Continuously enhance and enforce program requirements and decision-making criteria for root inclusion and removal, and work directly with CAs to maintain and improve their data, CP/CPS, and audits.
