ABOUT KATHLEEN VONK

Experienced owner with a demonstrated history of working in the public safety industry. Strong education professional with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with honors, focused in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Michigan State University. Law enforcement professional since 1988 serving in a variety of capacities. Some roles include road patrol officer, problem oriented policing officer (Special Problems Unit), community oriented policing, bicycle patrol in an urban setting, field training officer, traffic officer, instructor and instructor-trainer, traffic operations sergeant, and swing shift deputy commander in urban Las Vegas. She has instructed thousands of officers worldwide since 1993 in the areas of firearms, fitness, officer survival, bicycle patrol, and other subjects. She is the owner of Louka Tactical Training, a public safety service provider specializing in human performance improvement, and she conducts all levels of training from basic to train-the-trainer level courses. She was an SME and instructor-trainer for MCOLES, implementing physical fitness standards for pre-service police cadets and she designed the fitness/wellness curriculum for Michigan\'s 23 police academies. She instructed for H&K International Training Division, Team One Network, IPMBA, NSCA, NTOA, and others. She is a former collegiate dual sport athlete in volleyball and softball.
