Also serves as certified mediator and early neutral evaluator for the federal court. Recently defeated class action in major products case and obtained summary judgment in large commercial case. Has also obtained protected party status for client in GM Bankruptcy filing, with client only party other than GM to obtain such status. Tried over 30 civil trials to verdict as well as over 150 criminal trials while an Assistant District Attorney. Active in leadership positions within the ABA including being Chair of the Cybersecurity Task Force.

Kathleen Strickland has been a trial attorney for more than 30 years. Kathy focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, class actions, and mass torts, including the defense of companies sued for consumer product claims. She has defended commercial developers and chemical companies in environmental lawsuits and has defended national corporations in mass tort cases. The breadth of her experience ranges from obtaining protected party status for a client in a highly visible bankruptcy case to summary judgment for another in an international shipping matter. Due to her trial experience and tenacity as a litigator, clients rely on Kathy in high-stakes cases when settlement efforts have failed. She has secured defense verdicts at trial in more than 30 civil cases in 14 states.
