About Kathleen Spurgeon
I believe in building “unity and community”! I am an independent contractor specializing in Tribal Nations -Municipal Government Affairs. I have contracted with OML, Oklahoma Municipal League as their Tribal Lliason. As a Citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation (MCN) and recently as their Government Relations Specialist, I believe it is important to build a solid foundation for the next generation of citizens, along with tribal and municipal leaders who work cooperatively together for them. Shared citizenry /resident efforts build successful communities. Additional to working with OML, my professional focus is that of a locum tenens practicing optometrist with a background in Pediatrics with residency in ocular disease. I’ve served on multiple boards and I value my background in healthcare legislative advocacy and have participated in consulting opportunities,offering solution based healthcare tools on a large and small scale.
