Lead Department of 24 providers, 14 residents, and 50 staff. Work closely in a dyad partnership to oversee the service line (Urology and Renal Transplantation) at main campus and 5 satellite clinics with budget responsibility.• Grew and developed Section into a sub-specialized entity with oversight of the recruitment of five fellowship trained members • Set goals and collaborated with Section to achieve High Performing National Rank in US News and World Report, 2020• Studied and applied Lean/Virginia Mason Production System principles to eliminate waste, improve flow, and maximize efficiency and utilization of resources to optimize the bottom line • Led and contributed to clinical trials in various areas of urology to advance medicine and patient outcomes and satisfaction• Co-chaired annual hospital fundraising event raising $1M+ annually. Cultivated donors and collaborated in annual golf tournament to raise monies for cancer research and international visiting professorships. • Developed a robust education program within the department - Founded Urology Residency program; founded a Clinical Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education); support maintenance of Urologic Oncology Fellowship (certified by Society of Urologic Oncology)• Created and developed a comprehensive research program and team o Established a database of patients, and shepherded evolution through 3 platforms o Negotiated for support of and recruited 3 doctorate level members dedicated to research support for urology (grant writer, database analyst, and biostatistician)• Established a comprehensive Pelvic Floor Center that grew from 2 providers and now includes a multidisciplinary team comprised of 7 fellowship-trained surgeons, a medical urologist, and a physicians\' assistant (PA-C)
