About Kathleen Kirby
So proud this year to have been elected to serve as President of the Federal Communications Bar Association - the Tech Bar! As a partner with the law firm of Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, DC and Co-Chair of the firm\'s Telecom, Media & Technology practice, I represent media clients, including major radio and television group owners, programming networks, and other content creators and providers on a host of business and transactional issues, as well as regulatory and legislative matters before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Congress. I have additional expertise in newsgathering, content regulation, and First Amendment issues, and I draw upon my prior experience as a radio broadcaster. I am fortunate to work with the most incredible team of creative and pragmatic lawyers at Wiley and always strive to be a trusted business partner for our clients. I am also grateful for the opportunity to give back to the industry I love by serving as a board member of the Broadcasters Foundation of America and the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation - how lucky I am.
