ABOUT KATHLEEN KENDALL-TACKETT

I am an author, editor, publisher, speaker, and researcher in women\'s health. My research focuses on trauma and health, perinatal mental health, and breastfeeding. As a health psychologist, I published my first article in 1987 and never looked back. Over the past 34 years, I\'ve written more than 500 articles and 42 books. I am Editor-in-Chief of the journal Psychological Trauma, was founding Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Lactation, and and have served on the editorial boards of five others. I worked as a full-time book editor for 3 years before deciding to start my own publishing company, Praeclarus Press, and have edited more than 150 books on all aspects of women\'s health. We publish books that are practical, evidence-based, and well written. At Praeclarus Press, we aim to provide information that will change policies and change lives. I also provide training for healthcare providers who work with new mothers.
