IEM\'s mission is to build a safe, secure, and resilient world. The largest woman- and minority-owned business of its kind, IEM works closely with government agencies and private sector organizations around the world to improve disaster preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, and long-term recovery. IEM Puerto Rico was established in the wake of Hurricane Maria in 2017, and has continued recovery efforts since Hurricane Fiona in 2022. The Puerto Rico Critical Infrastructure team partners closely with the local government, utility company, and the federal government to help rebuild a stronger, more resilient infrastructure across the island.
