Perform difficult and complex analyses related to planning, development, delivery, and monitoring of economic development programs and activities on and off Arizona Indian reservations.• Establish and maintain communication with a wide variety of groups, profit & non-profit organizations, to plan and execute economic development projects on Arizona Indian reservations. • Plan, develop and implement economic and business development assistance programs• Assist tribal entities develop and implement marketing programs, coordinate economic development projects, conduct studies and prepares reports and other documents.• Identify and pursue contract, grant, and or state funding opportunities. Monitor budget expenditures; and oversee, coordinate, and/or assist with proposal writing to develop additional funding.• Gather, analyze, and model related to the program(s) or project(s) for recommendations to key stakeholders for decision-making and/or to improve the processes of the program.• Analyze and recommend changes to economic development initiatives, programs, or legislation which may impact economic development activities on Arizona reservations.• Provide technical assistance, business consulting, training, and educational workshops.• Serve as tribal liaison for the NAU W. A. Franke College of Business and Native American economic development liaison with Arizona\'s twenty-one nations and communities, state and federal agencies, Arizona universities, and similar state and national organizations.• Serve as mentor to Native American students enrolled in the W. A. Franke College of Business; and to the student organization, American Indigenous Business Leader.• Collaborate with NAU departments and academic programs and faculty with CAIED programs, projects, and activities.
