ABOUT KATHLEEN ELLIOTT

I am a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal\'s Disputes and Investigations practice. I am a Certified Fraud Examiner (\"CFA\") and a Certified Licensing Professional (\"CLP\"). My primary areas of concentration include expert analysis of damages stemming from breach of contract, intellectual property infringement, breach of fiduciary duty, alleged fraud, and securities litigation. I have performed a variety of financial, economic, accounting, and causation analyses for a wide variety of disputes and investigations and have been designated as an expert in several disputes. I have also assisted in corporate dissolution and related claims resolution. I also have experience serving on an independent litigation committee in an investigative capacity for purposes of evaluating whether or not a shareholder derivative suit should be moved forward. The recommendations made by the independent litigation committee and outside counsel resulted in dismissal of the shareholder suit.My industry experience includes agriculture, computer peripherals, consumer products, financial institutions, food and beverage, government contracts, healthcare, hospitality, media, medical devices, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and telecommunications, among others.
