Leads daily operations of web and terrestrial radio, TV and emergency broadcast systems hosted by Voice of Vashon. Identify, recruit, train and develop a talented team of employees, volunteers and board members who can lead critical departments and manage strategic business functions. Responsible for all nonprofit operations and ensure business practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements including the FCC and local government. Develop the organizational culture and promote transparency and collaboration throughout the organization.Develop partnerships with stakeholders, including businesses, donors, and governmental agencies.Develops, coordinates and supervises the work of Team Leads including technical, digital, volunteer, board, communications and fundraising. Executes Board policy on programming content for all VoV venues through coordination with Programming Team Lead. Strategic planning for organization in partnership with Board. Leads monthly Executive Committee and Board meetings providing accurate, compelling and timely content. Video and audio development with emphasis on broadcasting. Social channel marketing, email communications to keep islanders informed and entertained.
