Credentialing plays an important role in society, ensuring that qualified individuals gain access to their chosen career paths and that the people to whom we entrust our safety, health, education, and finances are qualified to do so.To develop high-quality credentialing programs, a commitment to excellence is essential. Throughout my career, I have developed high-performing teams that employ creative thinking, best practices, and continuous improvement principles to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients. Critical to these efforts has been a strong commitment to DEIB principles, exam security, and legal defensibility, all of which contribute to the fairness and validity of credentialing exams.Today, technology, particularly AI, is transforming the credentialing industry by making possible new, more authentic approaches to measuring and evaluating individuals’ knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as more efficient methods for developing exam content. This creates exciting new possibilities for test sponsors and it is invigorating to navigate these new frontiers with clients to determine the best way to employ assessment technologies to help them achieve their objectives.
