Responsible for the Procurement Sustainability Risk Management Program and Supplier Diversity for North American to ensure that small, minority, women, LGBT, veteran, disabled suppliers are included in our procurement processes in support of our corporate diversity objectives and Sanofi’s commitment to our suppliers, partners and patients. Act as a spokesperson for the company with major external advocacy groups (i.e. National Minority Supplier Development Council, NaVOBA, NGLCC, etc.for corporate Supplier Diversity related issues and with Federal government ( Veterans Affairs and the SBA for government. Applies knowledge and understanding of Supplier Diversity issues by collecting pertinent information, analyzing data, managing actions plans and providing expertise in identifying potential suppliers to continuously enhance contribution to Supplier Diversity. Development of corporate-wide Supplier Diversity vision and strategy to achieve “world class” status. Establish credibility of the program within Sanofi, the community at large, federal governmental authorities and advocacy groups that promote Supplier Diversity. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal team members, external advocacy groups, current and potential suppliers and federal agencies. Increase overall organizational effectiveness, using best practice sharing and optimized resource allocation. Continually exhibit strong knowledge of Supplier Diversity processes and practices and ability to interpret federal regulations and compliance guidelines. Provide leadership support to North America Procurement sourcing professionals by setting objectives, analyzing internal tools and external databases to drive inclusion efforts, measure compliance against established annual Supplier Diversity goals.
