   Kathleen Carlson works on various special projects across several portfolios at Bloomberg Philanthropies and Bloomberg Associates including Human Resources, Environment, Social Services and Public Health. She is a certified Executive Coach with the International Coaching Federation and a certified Insights Discovery practitioner who has designed/facilitated many team retreats and 1:1 coaching conversations. She leads a Senior City Women\'s Excutive Coaching circle. From 20••••23 she led a community engagement strategy for the City of Chicago Mayor\'s Office drawing on her years of experience in government. She has curated and facilitated employee engagement discussions focused on mental health, leadership development and resilience. From 20••••19 she oversaw content development for CityLab, where more than 400 of the world’s most creative mayors, city practitioners, artists, academics, funders, and other public and private sector leaders gathered to collaborate on improving cities and spreading urban strategies that work. She also oversaw Mayoral convenings for the Bloomberg American Health Summit, the Partnership for Healthy Cities Summit and the Local Climate Action Summit at COP28. Prior to her project-based work she ran operations for Government Innovation.
