ABOUT KATHLEEN MCCLANAHAN

I have had several roles within the same company to get a full understanding of what we offer our clients. I started off my professional career as a lab sample coordinator and was promoted to a chemist within 2 years. I dabbled in quality assurance but realized my interests lie in working closely with the people in our network. I then transitioned to an inside sales administrative role to learn the sales side of the business and to build relationships. To further understand the business I decided to become an application engineer who understands the water chemistry, can design the proper water treatment system, and can distinguish which industries we should be going after. Currently I am combining the technical knowledge with the commercial knowledge as a commercial sales manager. As a motivated professional with a proven track record of performing accurate routine chemical testing and chromatographic methods of analysis, I have.demonstrated leadership quality and organizational skills providing training to staff on LIMs and other equipment. I\'ve introduced standard operating procedures, process improvements, and Quality Assurance methodology that enhanced the performance of Lab operations. I have advanced customer service skills as well as a strong grasp of new technology.
