Responsible for contributing to the overall administration, leadership, and cross-functional strategy development and execution for programs such as but not limited to Professional Training and Certification, increasing advocacy and strengthening relationships with state and regional associations to position the Association for continued growth. Including efforts specific to external-facing engagement across members, clients, key stakeholders and other professionals within the broader water industry.* In collaboration with other departments/volunteers contribute to the development, enhancement, and implementation of a communications strategy to promote programs to raise revenue, promote the value of research, and improve awareness of VALUE.* Oversee and support proactive outreach by staff/volunteers to prioritized organizations to convey WQA\'s stance, grassroots initiatives, coalition development, international collaboration, and to progress in relevant matters as part of broader effort to build continuous stakeholder engagement and support.* Oversee external-facing diversity efforts through support of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council and Women in Industry Advisory Council, and Young Professionals Advisory Council.* In partnership with departmental teams, develop and implement strategies to grow, enhance WQA’s value proposition, and retain value and relevancy for all its customers and members in all target markets, and key stakeholders.* Oversight of External Affairs Team budgets, ensuring revenue and EBITDA meets or exceeds predetermined goals and objectives.* Participate in the overall development of the organization’s strategic plans and initiatives.
