About Kathleen Oneill
I am interested in cultivating professional relationships and collaborating on health care ventures which ultimately enhance population health, systems and patient outcomes. Experience in the acute hospital environment, stroke & STEMI systems of care policy, outcomes research, quality improvement, strategic business development, project management, grant funding and health IT. Always interested in professional growth opportunities & mentoring healthcare professionals interested in the quality improvement arena. Currently the National VP, Program Implementation, Healthcare Quality for the American Heart Association (AHA). In this role, I manage a team of quality healthcare consultants focused on the promotion of guideline directed medical care to enhance CVD patient outcomes utilizing AHA\'s Get With The Guidelines suite of quality programs. I also work on statewide initiatives to enhance and sustain quality care collaborating with multiple stakeholders to develop systems of care for heart attack and stroke patient care. I have had abstracts presented at national conferences and a manuscripts published in Circulation and JAMA. I have also presented at national conferences including ACHE\'s Congress & Scientific Sessions. I am a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, NAHQ, HIMSS and a Principle at Healthy Aging Network, Inc, a healthcare consulting company.Specialties: Healthcare quality and outcomes research, systems of care policy, strategic business development, executive account and project management.
