I serve as the Team Leader for the Educational Technology department for my public school district. It is my extreme honor to share my passion for educational technology with others in my role as an Educational Technology Coach. As a teacher of educators, I strive to create trusting and supportive relationships in which I understand the needs of each individual and encourage them in their understanding of purposeful and relevant technology integration. I currently officially serve staff in seven different elementary schools, but also serve the entire district in various instructional technology leadership positions. I provide professional development in a wide variety of service options: consultative planning, 1:1, push-in demonstration lessons; optional mini-workshops; required workshops; before and after school options; an online digital badge platform that I created and manage; digital resources such as email, screencasts, and shared resources; support and encouragement via social media interaction (PLN); monthly newsletters that share resources and off-site conference/workshop/edcamp opportunities; Tech Playdates, and more.
