About Katherine T. Fowler
Katherine is the founder and owner of Fowler Nutrition PLLC and has been practicing as a master’s level, licensed registered dietitian nutritionist for over 15 years. She received her bachelor of science in human ecology from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville prior to completing her dietetic internship and completing her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Memphis. She is recognized as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Consultant (CEDS-C) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals for her expertise in treating eating disorders and supervising dietitians training to treat eating disorders. She has experience working in an intensive outpatient program treating eating disorders and in the outpatient private practice setting treating children, adolescents, and adults. Her specialty areas of practice include treating eating disorders and disordered eating, weight and body image concerns, and family feeding dynamics. When treating children and adolescents with eating disorders, Katherine utilizes a modified Family Based Treatment (FBT) informed approach which prioritizes the family as a key component of the treatment team. Katherine is committed to continually advancing her skills as a clinician and is actively involved with local, state, and national professional organizations. She is currently serving as the Chair on the Renewed Eating Disorders Support Board of Directors. Katherine has been recognized for her contributions to the field and has received the 2025 Renewed Angel Award, and was named as 2022 Writer\'s Choice Best Dietitian by the Nashville Scene, the Tennessee Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ 2014 Emerging Dietetic Leader and the Nashville Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics\' 2012 Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year. Katherine is a professional member of Eating Disorder Registered Dietitians & Professionals (EDRDPro), International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals, International Federation for Eating Disorder Dietitians, and Renewed Eating Disorders Support
