About Katherine Spencer
After four years as senior user experience designer with SugarCRM, I am currently the director of the user experience design department. Previously I was with JP Morgan Chase using my interaction design, UI/UX design, and visual design skills. Prior to JPMC, I was the senior visual designer and data visualizer with Fehr & Peers, an engineering consultancy. After several years of working as a successful freelance scenic designer for film, television & theater in New York City, I relocated to California with my spouse. I was a member of the faculty of Design Institute of San Diego & taught architectural drafting, 3D modeling, rendering, graphic design & web site design.
