Katherine Simons transitioned DDS Staffing Resources specializing in the temporary and permanent staffing of medical and dental staff in April 2007 to her co-worker Michelle Lee of 19 years and Lillian Kloock former employee who started the medical division in 1991. She also partnered with her son-in-law Tim Rush, in ownership of a Healthcare Job Board, Healthcare Staffing Innovations, LLC which features the largest and most successful job board highlighting nurse practitioners and physician assistants. She accepted an offer from Ed Cooney, President of Atlanta Business Bank, to join the Board of Director in 2007. Katherine received the 2005 award from the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce for Small Business Person of the Year, 2006 ABWA Phenomenal Woman, North Fulton County, 2008 Volunteer of the Year, GNFChamber of Commerce. She served as Chairperson for the Ethics Committee for the National Association of Personnel Services, 20••••07 where she also served as a director on the Board. Katherine served as Chairperson for New Members and Assimilation at Roswell United Methodist Church, a member congregation, is a leader at the Job Networking program RUMC with Jay Litton where she organizes a program which currently attracts over 300 job seekers at each event. She serves on the Board of Directors for the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the HomeStretch Board of Directors. She is a recognized DISC consultant in behavioral profiling and has used her skill to profile more than healthcare professionals. Katherine was the President of the Georgia Association of Personnel Services for is a Certified Personnel Consultant. She began her career as a Registered Dental Hygienist and earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. Currently married since 1967 and has two married daughters, and 7 grandchildren living in the Roswell area.
