ABOUT KATHERINE ODONNELL
Having been with Richmond Region Tourism more than 20 years, I have seen RVA’s tourism growth in all areas. As President & CEO, I oversee the departments of Marketing, Destination Sales, Sports, Visitor Experience, Community Relations and Administration, as well as the organization’s diversity and inclusion strategies and nonprofit Foundation. I provide strategic leadership for the organization in all aspects, which in turn helps the organization grow the tourism industry in the Richmond Region and improve quality of life for residents. I am a Certified Destination Management Executive and was named to the 2022 class of Richmond BizSense Power Women. I was named a Richmond History Maker in 2020 for my work on BLK RVA. I am a member of Leadership Metro Richmond Class of 2016. And in 2015, I was named one of Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 for my work on OutRVA.
