ABOUT KATHERINE FERNANDEZ

First Class MA International Business graduate from the University of Edinburgh, with an exchange year at Queen’s University, Canada. I bring experience across sales, marketing communications and strategic research, driven by a commitment to sustainability and inclusivity.At Enterprise Mobility, I developed core skills in sales and customer relationship management as a Management Intern and Campus Brand Manager. I went on to gain experience in marketing communications at Lloyds Banking Group, before leading a personalised postgraduate communications campaign at the University of Edinburgh to improve engagement and offer conversion. I also project-managed International Week: a School-wide event enhancing students’ global employability and cultural intelligence through collaboration with alumni, charities and student societies.Currently, I’m conducting strategic research to inform how the University of Edinburgh supports the UK’s transition to a green economy. My work explores the green skills gap, the role of apprenticeships, and how higher education can strengthen talent pipelines in clean energy, fintech and green finance.Passionate about brand strategy, sustainability, and creating opportunities for meaningful impact.
