Katherine Escalante is a recent graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University where she obtained degrees in Political Science and Philosophy. Her work lives at the intersection of climate, migration, and public policy. As a Yale Conservation Scholar, she contributed to research on climate displacement in Central America for Climate Refugees and led Ocean Justice projects for World Ocean Day / The Ocean Project. Katherine is now pursuing a Master in Environmental Management at the Yale School of the Environment.
