Working with the team at Okane, I apply my previous experiences in geochemistry of mine rock stockpiles and tailings characterization to geochemical analyses and modeling projects. I often use reactive transport and geochemical models to further understand complex hydrogeochemical processes (applied to ML/ARD management in mining and CO2 sequestration). The results of these findings are then summarized in reports used to provide clients with recommendations for optimization of their mine material management, or used to generate source terms that may be fed into site-wide water balance models. I also have experience developing geochemical characterization programs to support data collection at the permitting stage and subsequent analysis of these results.
