ABOUT KATIE DUNCAN

I oversee social strategy and execution at Stella Rising with an added focus in creative strategy. I have been part of the women-led Stella Rising team for over 7 years working on brand strategies for beauty, health, wellness, fashion and other DTC brands. I have also expanded my portfolio to work on a collection of home-focused brands. My role is to strategically blend creativity, analytical insight, and leadership in defining and implementing innovative campaign strategies that align with each client\'s unique goals. I excel in social and creative strategy as well as execution across a wide array of social channels including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn. With my support, several of Stella Rising\'s clients have become award-nominated which included a win for Best Use of Social Media in a Global Campaign and a Drum Marketing Award nomination for the Healthcare & Pharma category. In 2024 I achieved the TikTok Certified Media Buying Professional Certification. In 2025 I won Stella Rising\'s The Sky is The Limit award, awarded to an individual who went above and beyond their expected learning and development plan to expand their skillsets. I’m also an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion and have led Stella Rising\'s DEI Committee since 2021. With the work of the DEI Committee, Stella Rising has been named a Mogul Top 100 Workplace for Diverse Professionals in 2024.I have my B.A. in Art History and Communication and deeply care about sharing the importance of art through history. I create my own art in several mediums - some of my favorites being dance/movement, witchery, photography, video, style. Vermont is my home base and it brings me the utmost joy to garden and be outside in nature.
