ABOUT KATHERINE JOYCE
I’m a user experience professional, accessibility advocate and design leader who loves problem solving and understanding user needs to create simple and intuitive designs and services. I\'ve performed leadership and strategy roles, as well as remained hands-on as a principal designer. I\'ve adapted my UX process where required, and I have experience with Design Thinking, Lean UX and Double Diamond methodologies.I have over 11 years experience in the field of UX/UI design and have performed design, research, content, and service design activities as part the umbrella of UX in many roles over the years.I have experience of working for both private and public sector clients, I have built and scaled high-impact design teams, established best practices, designed processes, design strategies and frameworks, promoted inclusive design and accessibility, and have worked on many complex projects.I also enjoy helping people on their journey into the UX industry, mentoring aspiring designers on various mentoring platforms, and innovating to make the complex seem simple.I am NNg certified, a Luma Certified Practitioner, and always advocating training and development for all team members.
