Whose career has been a straight line lately? Mine certainly hasn\'t — but looking back, every detour pointed the same direction. I\'m the person on the team asking whether we have a process for that, developing it collaboratively — identifying what data we should be collecting, addressing real-time pain points, and making sure it\'s all relevant to achieving business goals. I\'m building toward work at the intersection of data and public systems — environmental infrastructure, municipal operations, educational institutions. The kind of work that ends up in the water system, the school schedule, the city planning decision. Useful and necessary to everyone who depends on it daily without ever thinking about it. Currently adding GIS to my toolkit through active coursework at WSU Vancouver using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
