ABOUT KATHERINE ROBSON-HUMPHREYS
With a wide range of experience across collections management and curation in both independent and national institutions, I am committed to upholding and enhancing professional standards for acquiring, borrowing, moving, storing and displaying historic objects in all media. Using my MA in Museum Studies and voluntary work as the foundation, I have grown into an experienced museum professional who has successfully managed a wide range of new acquisitions and loans-in, is able to work methodically through the challenges of moving and displaying objects (including non-traditional objects, such as time-based media), and has delivered a variety of temporary displays with key stakeholders. I am dedicated to ensuring that the objects which represent people’s stories, and which have shaped histories and cultures nationally and internationally, are preserved to the highest professional standards.
