Lead author and project lead for Cracks in the Foundation: Philanthropy’s Role in Reparations for Black People in the DMV. Managed across internal departments, student workers, academic advisors, and core organizational partners to design a framework and methodology to prove the case for reparations from philanthropic endowments to Black communities Project lead of the Regressive Philanthropy Initiative, a campaign designed to help social movement funders better understand the impact of regressive philanthropy. Synthesized research and accompanying text into two blog posts that studied the size of the anti-democracy ecosystem, the rise in funding over time, and the share of general operating support vs. program support. Used Python to run scripts that compare regressive funders\' IRS 990 data to pro-democracy funders’ grantmaking. Created final data visualizations in Canva.
