ABOUT KATHERINE MEITZ T
Working in the mental health field alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds has opened my eyes to the challenges many face in our communities. Whether it’s addiction, mental or behavioral health struggles, or intellectual disabilities, I’ve found my passion in helping people find hope and healing on their journey toward recovery. I have developed skills in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and substance use counseling to effectively support and encourage those navigating difficult seasons. To deepen my knowledge and expand my impact, I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at the University of Georgia, with the goal of better serving my community with compassion and evidence-based care.
