ABOUT KATHERINE MARCHAM
Impact investment and ecosystem leader with 12+ years’ experience designing and delivering accelerator, funding and innovation programmes across the UK\'s social tech ecosystem. I work across venture assessment, due diligence and portfolio management, alongside building founder communities and delivering local and national programmes that support early-stage ventures from idea through to growth. My experience spans grant funding, impact investment partnerships and cross-sector collaborations, with a strong focus on financial discipline, measurable outcomes and sustainable growth. I have led the assessment and support of a £20m+ portfolio of ventures, working closely with founders to strengthen propositions, governance and readiness for follow-on funding. Alongside portfolio leadership, I build high-impact peer communities and partnerships, collaborating with organisations including Microsoft, EY & EY Foundation, Vodafone, Catch22 and the Mayor of London. I regularly translate research, community insight and performance data into clear strategic recommendations for boards and senior stakeholders. Motivated by purposeful innovation and systems change, I’m particularly interested in roles that strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems, support venture growth and deliver meaningful, measurable impact.
