Executive Team member directing and growing more than $126 million to date in federal, local and foundation grants for Southside Medical Center, a federally qualified health center with 18 fixed sites currently in seven counties of the Atlanta metropolitan statistical area. Increased grant revenues by 149.5% over 2019 audit figures by 2023 audit. Developed new Ryan White Part A program and application to provide services for low-income, medically-eligible People Living With HIV, successfully funded, now in its sixth year of operation; and new Healthy Start program to improve maternal and perinatal health outcomes among African American and Latina women. Awarded funds support primary health care for all ages, women\'s health including breast health and prenatal education, diabetes education, HIV prevention, specialty care, mental health and substance abuse, dental services; school-based and school-linked services; equipment including clinical, telehealth and information technology; minor alterations/renovations; housing support.• Agency lead on for National Institutes of Health’s state Community Engagement Alliance Against COVID-19 project with Morehouse School of Medicine, Emory Vaccine Trials program, DeKalb County Board of Health, serving on national needs assessment and evaluation workgroup, and state communication tools workgroup. Authored Frequently Asked Questions communication tool to address SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 vaccination facts and misinformation, adopted for nationwide use.
